Top-down sweater knitting pattern worked seamlessly in the round
The Seaweed Pullover knitting pattern is worked top-down in the round in reverse stockinette stitch in a classic yoke construction. Short rows are worked above the sleeves, improving the fit. Sleeves are worked seamlessly from the armholes and worked in the round to the cuff.
Is the Seaweed Pullover pattern appropriate for beginner knitters?
This mohair knitting pattern is not suitable for beginner knitters unless you welcome a challenge. Based on Craft Yarn Council's this pattern is appropriate for intermediate knitters who know how to shape a garment with increases and decreases. The stitches in this pattern include bobbles and knitting through the back loop.
Recommended knitting gauge
21 sts and 28 rows = 4 in/10 cm in stockinette stitch on larger needles
22 sts and 30 rows = 4 in/10 cm in 1x1 rib stitch on smaller needles
